The COS Story
COS was founded in 1976 by Dominique Lyone, the son of an Egyptian immigrant whose family ran awayay to Australia after the 1967 Six Day War. Following in the footsteps of his dad, the proprietor of a little typewriter repair work business, Dominique began a local office stationery business in Western Sydney. In those early days COS had 2 staff and the top selling product was typewriter ribbon.
